The United Nations made March 20th the 'International day of Happiness' to recognize happiness as a basic human right across the world. To celebrate the day in 2015, we partnered with Pharrell and the United Nation Foundation to invite the whole world to a global GIF party. To join the party, all you had to do was take 4 pictures using your device’s camera, you could then invite your friends to join. in 24 hours, over 50'000 people from 162 countries joined in to celebrate happiness, we even dressed up pegman for the day.
MY ROLE: Senior Producer
Worked with internal team to develop concept and define a plan for production
Worked and managed relationship with I Am Other (Pharrell William’s team)
Worked with design team in house on site design
Researched for ideal partners to help us with the site development
Worked and oversaw the relationship with production agency up to site delivery
Worked with UN Foundation and Pharrell team on launch event
Worked with legal on drafting the agreements (contracts with all the parts)
Oversaw production all comms assets
Worked with the maps and hangout teams to create Easter eggs
Worked with HPP team (specially in traffic monitoring)
